Our Mission: To "attract, engage, and retain" young professionals in the Flathead Valley. Flathead Area Young Professionals, or FAYP, is a growing and vibrant group of young professionals who live and work in fabulous Flathead Valley, Montana. Through monthly lunch meetings, mixers, community service projects and community involvement we strive to make our corner of the world one where any young professional would want to live, work and play. In the past year we’ve seen our membership grow substantially. We recently affiliated our group with the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce and are presently working with Montana West Economic Development on a major fundraiser/community event for fall 2008. Our history: A small group of young professionals first created FAYP on October 30th, 2000. In 2005 a few of the original members decided it was time to breathe new life into the group. Those members came together to re-structure and expand what had been started five years earlier. Today FAYP boasts more than 100 members– and is still growing. Each meeting features a speaker who addresses the group on various business, government and community affairs in the valley which affect our area and demographic. Lunch is served for $10. Anyone is welcome to attend up to 2 meetings to check us out. After that, we ask you to become a member if you would like to join our group.
