Professionals love to be challenged. So when Dru Rafkin Jackman, ACC, Certified Professional Development Coach,  challenged FAyPers at our March luncheon to overcome our Monkey Minds, the response was focused and unanimous -- "What the #3!! are you talking about, Dru?"

It turns out that each of our brains is burdened with a tantrum throwing, pre-adolescent, snot-nosed punk portion called the amygdala that rises up to derail us just as we begin to take on new challenges or to pursue some creative bent.
